This site is an independent, unsolicited design proposal by Peashoot. It is not This Is Colombia Hostel's official website and the hostel has not authorised or reviewed it yet.

It's a prototype so the hostel team can see how a site of their own could look and work. It doesn't sell, charge or confirm bookings.
Every booking button leads to the hostel's real channels: its LobbyPMS booking engine, WhatsApp, email, Instagram and its Hostelworld and Booking.com listings.

From what the hostel publishes on its booking engine, Hostelworld, Booking.com and Instagram, plus public sources on San Gil and Santander (the town hall, Wikipedia, ProColombia and others). Every fact is logged with its source and date (22 October 2026).
Where sources disagree we say so on the page rather than inventing an answer. Quoted scores and prices are snapshots of one day, not live data.

The 10 photos come from @thisiscolombiahostel on Instagram. Interface elements (arrows, cursors, text) were cleaned out without changing what the photos show. Public use is pending the hostel's permission; guests' photos were not published.
The illustrations (the jaguar, the paraglider, the landscapes and icons) are Peashoot originals, inspired by the hostel's murals without copying them.

No cookies, no analytics, no third-party pixels and no forms that store data. The planners only build a WhatsApp or booking-engine link in your browser.

Rooms, the weekly plan, adventures, places and FAQs live in validated bilingual data files. Changing the tejo time or a sentence doesn't require touching the design. If something is wrong, we'll fix it.
